Meet the Group

During the summer of 2016, Dr. Timothy E. Bates took on a group of five undergraduate students for either two or five weeks. The objectives of this project were to upskill the students in the basic principles techniques of laboratory research, such as accurate pipetting and weighing. This experience allowed the students to progress onto more advanced skills, for example training in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and cell culture.
